I am extremely sad to hear of the death of Jim, whom I came to know through BATS during many years of our performances at The Haymarket Theatre, when I was a member of the company back in the 1980’s to 1990’s. He was a talented performer and at the heart of the company. I remember him arranging numerous wonderful social gatherings at his home for the members and the families of BATS. He was a lovely kind man, full of generosity and concern for others and with a great sense of humour and fun. I am so sorry that he is no longer with us. Maria Hadnett
